Synthesis, X-ray Diffraction, NMR and Thermolysis Studies of Cadmium Tin Sulfido Complexes

چکیده
Three molecular sulfido complexes containing a Cd-S-Sn structure motive, [{(tmeda)Cd}3(SnPh)2S6] (1), [{(tmeda)Cd}2(SnPh2)2S4] (2) and [{(iPr3P)Cd}3Cd4(SnPh2)6S13] (3), have been synthesized characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. So far, 2 is the first cadmium tin complex soluble in common organic solvents. Analysis 113Cd 119Sn NMR spectroscopy shows slow rearrangement solution, while spin coupling between nuclei can be used to identify species solution. Thermolysis of results CdS SnS as solid thermolysis products.

X-ray Diffraction Studies on Crystalline Complexes
Complexes of the gene 5 protein with a variety of oligodeoxynucleotides, ranging in length from two to eight and having several different sequences, have been formed and crystallized for x-ray diffraction analysis. The crystallographic parameters of four different unit cells, all of which are based on hexagonal packing arrangements, indicate that the fundamental unit of the complex is composed ...

We have produced assemblies of FePt nanoparticles using high temperature solution phase synthesis and polymer-mediated layer-by-layer deposition allowing precise control of the particle self-assembly. The as-deposited particles have a narrow size distribution offering the potential for use as ultra-high density magnetic storage media and ultimately storage of one bit per individual nanoparticle...
متن کاملX-ray Diffraction Studies of Synthetic Polysaccharides*
In the present paper are described experiments with synthetic polysaccharides prepared with muscle, heart, and liver phosphorylase. As judged by solubility properties and iodine colorations, the muscle enzyme synthesizes a polysaccharide in vitro which resembles plant starches, while the heart and liver enzymes synthesize a polysaccharide which resembles glycogen (1). It will be shown below tha...

متن کاملX-ray Diffraction Studies of Echinoderm Plates.
X-ray diffraction studies confirm that, with few exceptions, each skeletal element of echtinoderms is a single crystal of magnesium-rich calcite and that a relation exists between the shape of the element and the crystallographic a- and c-axes. The exceptions incluide the teeth of echinoids, and the calcareous ring as well as the anal teeth of holothurians. The tubercles of an echinoid plate be...
